New here... think I've got a setting I need to change

II tried whipping up a playlist and it works, but after like 45 seconds of a song, it moves on to the next song. Am I missing something here? How do I get it to play the entirety of all the songs on a playlist?

Thanks so much in advance. I'm evaluating the demo and I'd like to get this if I can figure out how to make it work (I've got an old HP Touchsmart and I like the idea of a 'work music jukebox' so I've been playing with this all day. It's really neat, so I hope this is just a simple setting I'm missing.

Thanks again!

hah, nevermind, I just noticed that the limitations of the trial include only 25% of the media playing, hehehe. Not a bug, then, but it would have been nice to have a more functional version for the 7 days. It's cool, tho, I can still poke around and see what stuff I can tweak on it and that's kind of fun. :)

II'll keep poking around to figure it out (had some trouble with the touch screen turning off when trying to pick more than a few songs but that seems to have stopped), but otherwise, it seems to work fairly smoothly so I'll keep learning it and trying to break it for the rest of the trial and if it keeps going well, I think I might get a copy next week when it runs out. Pretty stellar so far so got my fingers crossed. Cheers!

One change I did is if when you turn it on and it wants to queue all the songs you played last time is to put it in party mode.

Cool, thanks for the tip!

It's working pretty well so far, although I've got one issue where it's locking up when I pick individual songs (but I can add whole albums fine). I suspect that's my fault (I stripped my favorite playlists from YouTube with a handy little piece of software that grabs them and converts them all to mp3) so I imagine the tagging is poor at best and the program is choking on sorting them.

Gonna go after the individual files with an mp3tagger so that Zenpoint has all the 'required fields' to work with and I'm betting that's gonna sort it. First rule of troubleshooting - 'Sometimes when the plane crashes, it was just the pilot's fault.', but we'll see. :)

Very happy with the program so far tho -- it's keeping me in good tunes throughout my writing workday and once the 2tb drive I ordered comes in, I'm gonna hook the laptop to the projector and try to set up on-demand horror movies. Good times!

Thanks again for the tip, I imagine I'll be asking questions about the movie functions soon - already got the mkv converter so I'm just waitin' on that drive, hehe.
